Design and analysis of experimental adaptive feedback system for active noise control (ANC) in a duct

The limitations of passive noise control methods impose a need for new technical solutions to solve the problem reducing low-frequency noise, which is considered be dominant component disturbance. In recent years, subject intensive research are active systems, have aroused considerable interest and represent promising solution control. This paper proposes robust methodology simplified design analysis an experimental system real-time acoustic environment in duct. proposed feedback model based on using LMS algorithm, combined with FxLMS algorithm estimation neutralization secondary path electro-acoustic system. study shows potential FPGA module Real-time cRIO from National Instruments, LabView software when applied adaptive reliability validity developed tested frequency range 100 1000 [Hz], by measuring amplitude-time domain [V] sound level [dB]. comparison results great efficiency at lower 200 400 where maximum reduction achieved [Hz] 14 [dB] or 17 [%]. A significant also both 300 12 % 10 cases. Given challenges opportunities system, recommendations advancements future work proposed.
